Greg Watson and Sheila Packa are published poets. They share an interest in writing about their Finnish American worlds and their families’ connections to Finland.

PRESENTERS
Greg Watson is an award-winning author of twelve collections of poetry, most recently ‘Stars Unseen’ released Sept 17th, 2024 from Holy Cow Press and ‘The Days Between’ published by Kelsay Books. He is also co-editor with Richard Broderick of The Road by Heart: Poems of Fatherhood, published by Nodin Press.

Sheila Packa lives near Lake Superior in Northern Minnesota. She has published several books of her poems, including poems drawn from Finnish immigrant history and rivers. Sheila has several books. She was Poet Laureate of Duluth and she has received several awards for her work.
