Born and raised in the Upper Peninsula, Ronald Riekki is an award-winning short story writer, novelist, poet, playwright, and screenwriter. Ron Riekki’s books include U.P. a novel (Ghost Road Press), Post traumatic: A Memoir (Small Press Distribution), and My Ancestors are Reindeer Herders and I Am Melting in Extinction. He has edited 3 anthologies of writings from the Upper Peninsula, two published by Michigan State Press and one published by Wayne State Press.
