The Finlandia Foundation National Oral History Project, in partnership with FinnFest USA, will be interviewing Finnish Americans aged 60+ at this year’s FinnFest. These interviews will be stored in the archives at the Finnish American Heritage Center and will provide important insights into the history & culture of Finnish Americans.

Presenter Bio: Mirva Johnson holds a recent PhD in Scandinavian Studies – Folklore from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has years of experience conducting interviews about local language, history, and culture in Finnish North American communities.
