International Dance Collaboration! Kisarit will be joined by the Kiikurit Dance group from Thunder Bay, Canada for a Combined-Dance Performance which will feature both dance groups. Come and experience Finnish folk dancing and enjoy Finnish folk dances and music for a new appreciation of the many aspects of our unique Finnish culture at FinnFest 2025.

Kisarit Finnish American Folk Dancers begin in 1972 when Finnish students came to study at the University of Minnesota. The group got together with other Finnish Americans and soon were performing at various venues. From that early beginning, Kisarit has continued to perform at various festivals and other events throughout the USA and Finland. Kisarit performed at the first FinnFest in 1983 and has also performed at many other FinnFests promoting our Finnish culture throughout our 50 plus years as a Finnish American folk dance group.
