Public Ceremony - Thu Sep 21, 2017 @ 3:00p

A FinnFest 2017 public ceremony at the Finnish American monument at the Minneapolis Theodore Wirth Park will honor the memory of the dedication of that monument to the Finns and Finnish Americans that settled in the Minneapolis Near North "Finntown."

This singular monument honors the arrival of the first modern Finnish immigrant settlers beginning in 1864 and the creation of the modern Finnish nation state and its survival during the Second World War.
