Finnish American writers will gather to discuss the possibility of a new anthology of Finnish American writing.

“Sampo: the Magic Mill: A Collection of Finnish American Writing” was published in 1989. Other anthologies have followed, often connected with meetings held during FinnFest festivals. The latest anthology is now already 15 years old. With all the writers continuing to identify as Finnish American, it is more than time to consider how to publish a new collection, one that recognizes new authors and new directions. This meeting will be an informal meeting to which all who are interested in this project are welcome to join.
